What is SLBM. What are the timings of the SLBM.

SLBM (Securities Lending and Borrowing Mechanism) is a facility that allows investors to lend and borrow securities in the stock market. In this mechanism, an investor who owns securities can lend them to another investor for a specified period, typically for a fee. The borrower returns the securities after the agreed-upon period. This mechanism helps in enhancing market liquidity and facilitating short selling.

The SLBM market operates during regular market hours, typically from 9:15 AM to 3:30 PM, which is the same as regular trading hours on the stock exchange. However, specific transactions within SLBM (such as the borrowing and lending process) may have cut-off times within the trading day.
